RFA Welcomes Jenn Rust

Today, financial regulation and government affairs expert Jennifer (Jenn) Rust has joined RFA as a Principal. With Jenn’s wealth of experience navigating the intricacies of policy and regulation in Washington, Jenn will play a pivotal part in advancing RFA’s mission of helping our clients further their legislative and regulatory priorities.

Before coming to RFA, Jenn served as Senior Vice President & Counsel at a prominent government affairs firm in D.C. In this role, she represented a diverse array of clients, advocating for her clients’ interests with federal financial regulators and lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Jenn’s exceptional track record extends to her time on Capitol Hill, where she held senior positions on the House Financial Services Committee (HFSC) as Deputy Chief Counsel for former Chairwoman Maxine Waters and as Senior Counsel for HFSC Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations. In these positions, her work included spearheading key legislative initiatives and overseeing high-profile investigations into financial institutions’ regulatory compliance.

With her strategic insight, strong relationships across party lines, and deep understanding of the legislative and investigative processes, Jenn will bring invaluable expertise and a unique perspective to RFA.
