Emily King

Emily King is a longtime Capitol Hill veteran with a wealth of experience in legislative operations and established relationships with lawmakers.

Emily King joined Rich Feuer Anderson with over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill, where she held senior roles in House leadership and committee offices.

Before joining the firm, she was the Member Services Director for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, serving as a key liaison between committee leadership and member offices. In this capacity, Emily forged strong relationships with Republican members and their staff, led weekly briefings on legislative activities, and collaborated with senior leadership to advance member priorities through the committee process.

Notably, Emily contributed to the development of debate strategies for significant legislative victories on the House floor, including the ADVANCE Act and the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act.

Before her work at Energy and Commerce, Emily served as the Director of Operations for Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) in both her leadership and personal offices. While at the House Republican Conference, she was instrumental in launching the Faces of Tax Reform campaign, which involved district visits nationwide with Republican members of Congress. Additionally, Emily worked closely with the offices of Speaker Paul Ryan, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Majority Whip Steve Scalise to coordinate daily leadership meetings.

Emily holds a degree in International Affairs and Economics from James Madison University.
